4TH STREET BRIDGE

Los Angeles Performance Practice produces the annual Live Arts Exchange (LAX) festival, which creates space for and draws attention to emerging contemporary performance in Los Angeles. For the 2014 festival, 4th Street Bridge produced the closing night event for the festival, LAX: Departure. In 2016, 4th Street Bridge produced the event Bring Back the Future in addition to providing marketing support highlighting the festivals' other artists through interviews and blogs.

4th Street Bridge reactivated the long standing, space-themed dance party, Mothership LA, as the closing night event for the 2014 Live Arts Exchange Festival. Combining electronic music, and immersive video, the site specific event reimagined the use of The Bootleg Theatre's largest performance space.

As part of the Live Arts Exchange Festival, 4th Street Bridge produced a hyper-sensorial, immersive experience exploring themes of duality, time travel and memory. The date of the event itself set the tone for the event - 10/21/2015, the day Marty McFly returns with Doc in the film Back to the Future
